A Word from the Manufacturer
A long-time customer turned friend of ours recently retired from the Navy after 20 years of service. We created a scent for him—“Done for the Retirement”—a boozy green fig layered over tobacco, woods, and musks.
This fragrance reflects life aboard ship: woody notes for the sailing vessels, tobacco and booze for the sailors’ downtime, aquatic hints for life at sea, and a variety of musks—clean and not-so-clean—to embody daily life and its constraints. The green fig honors the early lesson he learned: “Go figure it out yourself before asking.”
Directions
Wet your shaving brush well, then swirl it around the jar for roughly thirty seconds or until a rich, creamy lather forms. Continue building the lather by adding water and swirling your brush either on your face or in a lathering bowl. Shave, rinse, and spend your day feeling great.
