Oakmoss and lichen lead the profile with earthy richness, balanced by lavender, sage, and geranium for aromatic clarity. Coumarin adds smooth warmth, while vetiver and cedar bring a dry, woody backbone. Bold, refined, and timeless—this is fougère done the Stirling way.

A Word from the Manufacturer

Another fantastic Stirling original scent, Varen was a project 2 years in the making. It was originally made for a Dutch wetshaving forum, so we gave it the name Varen, the Dutch word for “fern”. This natural fougere is a powerful blend of oakmoss, lavender, coumarin, vetiver, sage, cedar, lichen, and geranium.

Directions for Use

Spray lightly onto pulse points such as the neck and wrists. Allow the fragrance to dry naturally. Reapply as desired throughout the day.
